FREE DESIGN CONSULTATION: During the consultation we will sit down together and discuss not only how to build your website but we will also guide you through the planning for marketing your site on the web. ASSISTANCE WITH LOGISTICS: We will discuss in detail the process of creating your site and guide you through the process of registering your domain name, setting up your hosting service, creating your business email accounts and any other related website needs that you will require for your on-line business. PAGE LAYOUT: We start by designing the layout of the pages and the design of the layout to your specifications which determines how your website will look which includes where the images and text appear on the page including colors of the page background, the text and images. RECOMENDATION: We will make recommendations for the types and number of pages that we call  'standard' pages that we believe should always be included in a business website.  DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF PAGES AND CONTENT: Each business is different and has different needs to tell their story. DETERMINING THE PRICE: When we finish with the consultation we will have designed your entire website on paper and that will determine the price of the site. At that point we will give you a solid quote for the entire site from start to finish and the price will not go up as long as the content remains the same. However, we will allow 3 additional pages after the fact at no additional charge because there will always be something we miss during the consultation that usually is needed to complete the site. MAINTAINANCE AND FOLLOW UP CONSULTATIONS: After your website has been completed and published for all the world to see, we will continue to be your consultant and make changes and updates to your website at our normal rate.  We do not work by the hour.  Each and every time you want a change make to your site we will discuss the change prior to doing any of the work and quote you a task completion price and we will not exceed that price for that particular addition or change. MODIFICATION AND ADDITIONS PRICING: Our minimum charge is $35.00 per task. This might include uploading new images, or simple changes on page content such as a new paragraph of text etc. Other changes and pricing will be determined based on the time and difficulty of each modification or change. That price will be quoted prior to the changes being made. NO CHARGE FOR SIMIPLE CHANGES: Some simple changes such as changing a word may be made at no charge. We will determine a 'no charge' on an individual basis prior to making the change. SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION: Just building a website does not automatically put your site in search engines where people can find your site. That requires either a great deal of effort or a significant amount of money to place your site in a search engine on the first page when people search for your type of business. This service requires an expert called an SEO.. (Search Engine Optimizer) We do not provide this service but highly recommend several that have proven to be very successful in their efforts to 'rank' website on the first page when people search for your business. Prices may vary depending on the type and methods you select for your search engine ranking solution. PAY FOR POSITION SOLUTIONS: Most search engines also have what  is called 'Sponsored Links" where you simply pay them to be on the first page relative to a 'key word' like 'plumbing services". The more times people search for those key words the higher the price. Your website budget should include enough to cover whichever search engine solution that you select which best suites your needs. Search engine solutions can run from the a few dollars per month to several thousand dollars per year depending on the level of optimization and placement services that you decide on.
